Features
- Material: handcrafted clay tiles, kiln-fired and glazed.
- Variations: color shade differences, small irregularities, minor chips and crazing may occur (normal and expected for Zellige).
- Surface & Edges: slightly uneven surface with hand-cut, non-rectified edges.
- Thickness: typically 8–12 mm, with natural variation from piece to piece.
- Dimensional Tolerance: variations of ±1–3 mm; installation with adjusted joints is recommended.
- Use: suitable for interior walls, kitchen backsplashes, showers (with proper waterproofing), and fireplaces.
- Outdoor / Freeze Resistance: not recommended in freeze-thaw climates without technical evaluation.
- Heat & Moisture: resistant to normal household heat and humidity when installed on a compliant substrate.
